1. Who we are
Bookara (“we”, “us”) provides the service at bookara.am, at each shop's booking site on bookara.am, and through the Bookara Telegram bots and web apps. You can reach us at [email protected].
In these terms, “you” is the business that uses Bookara (a shop) and the people it adds to it: owners, admins and masters. The shop's own customers use Bookara to book appointments with the shop; for them, the shop's rules apply to the appointment itself, and our Privacy Policy explains how their data is handled.
2. The service
- Every shop gets a booking website at its own address (name.bookara.am), a Telegram mini app and bot for its customers, and apps and bots for its admins and masters.
- Customers book and cancel online; the shop and its masters get notifications, and customers get confirmations and reminders.
- We set up each new shop ourselves after a signup request. We may decline a request, for example if the business doesn't fit these terms.
3. Access and accounts
- Owners, admins and masters sign in with their Telegram account. Keep that account secure: anything done from it counts as done by you.
- The shop decides who it adds as an admin or a master, and is responsible for what they do in Bookara.
- Give us accurate details about your business and keep them up to date.
4. Your data and your customers
- Your shop's information (services, prices, working hours, photos, your customer list and bookings) belongs to you. You allow us to store and show it only as needed to run the service for you.
- The appointment is between the shop and its customer. You are responsible for your services, prices, quality, cancellation rules and any payment for the services. Bookara doesn't take payments for appointments and isn't a party to them.
- Only send announcements to customers who booked with you, and keep them relevant. You are responsible for the content of your announcements.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- offer illegal services or use Bookara for anything unlawful;
- send spam or misleading messages through Bookara;
- try to get into data or accounts that aren't yours, or to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell access to Bookara or pretend to be someone else.
6. Plans and payment
- Free is free with no time limit, within its limits (one master, up to 30 bookings a month). Pro and Ultra are paid, monthly or yearly. Current prices and limits are on the pricing section.
- Free trial. The first time a shop picks a paid plan, it gets 2 months free. The trial is given once per shop.
- Card payments. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our card orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply. Prices shown include the taxes Paddle calculates for your country.
- Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the Bookara payment app (through Paddle's customer portal); the plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Telegram Stars. You can also pay in Stars through the Bookara billing bot. A Stars payment covers one period and does not renew on its own. Telegram's terms for Stars apply.
- If a paid plan ends and isn't renewed, the shop moves to Free. Nothing is deleted, but features above the Free limits stop working until you pay again.
- Add-ons (extra bookings, extra announcements, an extra master seat) are one-time purchases.
- If we change prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance. New prices apply from your next billing period.
7. Refunds
- If you're not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it in full. Write to [email protected] or message us in Telegram.
- Card payments are refunded by Paddle to the card or account you paid with. You can also ask Paddle directly at paddle.net. Stars payments are refunded in Stars to the Telegram account that paid.
- Add-ons are refunded within the same 14 days if they haven't been used yet.
- After a subscription is refunded, the shop moves to Free.
- After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
8. Stopping and closing a shop
- You can stop using Bookara any time. To close your shop and delete its data, write to us. We delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
- We may suspend or close a shop that breaks these terms, harms other users or the service, or doesn't pay. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Bookara running and your data safe, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. It also depends on services we don't control, such as Telegram. We may improve and change features over time; if a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
10. Liability
- Bookara is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost bookings or lost business.
- Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we'll notify shop owners in Telegram or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Bookara after the changes take effect, you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes go to the courts of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
